Fraudulent Revenue Arrival Forms P86
Story added: 09/07/2007
The UK Revenue have issued a warning that letters are being sent out purporting to come from them which are accompanied by a fake arrival form P86 which asks for personal Bank Account details.
The letter, form and fax number given for returning the completed form are all fake. Recipients should not complete any information on the fake form. The authentic P86 does not contain a request for personal Bank Account details (see the web links section of our Useful Information page).
If you receive one of these letters, you are advised by the Revenue to ignore it and report the incident to the police.
